Zojirushi’s induction rice cooker efficiently provides high heat and prepares flawless rice every time. Induction Heating generates high heat and makes fine heat adjustments which result in fluffier rice. Compared to a heating element on a micom rice cooker, it heats faster and cools faster, to make finer heat adjustments while cooking. Only with the right sequence of on and off is rice cooked to perfection.
The flat-top design offers a sophisticated look, plus fewer parts to clean with an integrated steam cap. The flat frame and flat interior have minimal nooks and crannies to keep the rice cooker clean. The spherical design of the custom cooking pan offers better heat conduction and promotes convection during cooking, and it has a double nonstick coating for easy clean-up. In addition there are water measure lines for all menus, plus lines per ½ cup of rice for white rice. This is a beautiful and extremely functional rice cooker.
