Fry Pans

Fry Pans

A frying pan is typically a flat-bottomed pan, 8 to 12 inches in diameter, with low sides that flare outwards, a long handle and no lid. Used mainly for frying, searing and browning foods. Unlike a straight sided Sauté pan, the side slant out to allow steam to escape so that frying and searing can happen. They can be made of stainless steel, aluminum, copper, anodized aluminum, ceramic, silicone, Pyrex, enameled cast iron, or non-stick coated metal.
