The OXO Meat Tenderizer has two sides, one for pounding flat, the other for tenderizing. Use the Flat side to pound poultry or meat to a flat, uniform thickness. Use the textured side, with pyramid-shaped teeth, for tenderizing tough cuts of meat. As with all OXO kitchen tools, the tenderizer is study and durable with a soft, comfortable non-slip handle.
